Leapfrog was born to optimise everyone’s wellbeing with little-known but extraordinary natural actives. Life is busy. We don’t have time to get sick or trial multiple supplements: we want one supplement brand we know we can rely on, for our immunity, stress, anxiety, and sleep.

We care about every ingredient we put into the tablets and are transparent about their source. This is the supplement our founder Stephanie created to help her own family - her parents, siblings, and children. Leapfrog is at the centre of their wellness toolkit. We believe that once you’ve tried it, it will be your ‘must have’ in the medicine cabinet.

We work with the best – not the cheapest – suppliers and manufacturers who have been selected because of their commitment to high standards and practice: their accreditations and awards provide further proof. Our formulators have spent over a year developing each of our products, ensuring the provenance and efficacy of each ingredient, and have been overseen by our board of scientific advisors.

Dairy Excellence

Our hero ingredients, Lactoferrin and Lactium, come from a globally respected dairy company in Northern France oriented in sustainable production and committed to exploring the potential of dairy ingredients since 1949.

- In 2021, they received a societal and environmental commitment award and achieved B Corp status in 2023.

- The cows from family farms benefit from an eco-responsible diet without GMOs, hormones or antibiotics, are grass-fed when possible, and raised on small pastures and on straw. All farmers must follow the Charter for Good Agricultural Practices.

- The company invests in high-tech separation methods, producing many health bio-actives such as Lactoferrin and Lactium, with no waste from the milk.

Sustainability

We’ve made sure that Leapfrog’s splash into the natural wellness market has as little impact on our environment as possible.

Our blister packs are not currently recyclable, but we are keeping a close eye on technological developments and are aiming for biodegradable blister packs as soon as we’re convinced that the chewable tablets will be protected.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Our Story

Lifestyle and travel journalist Stephanie Drax was looking for a remedy to stop the endless cycle of coughs and colds that came home with her children from nursery and rampaged through their house.

The Answer

A scientist told Stephanie about Lactoferrin – a protein extracted from cows milk that is also naturally present in the human body and the key component of mother’s milk. The scientist said he hadn’t had a cold in 30 years.

Stephanie and her young family tried the raw ingredient and were amazed at the results: it repeatedly stopped the coughs and colds in their tracks. She looked to develop a chewable supplement with Lactoferrin, and after two years of research and multiple formulations, Leapfrog was born.

Ecologi has planted trees on our behalf and contributed to climate projects all over the world, from helping to create the first ever wind power project in Honduras, to solar power generation in India.

We have worked with Women Supporting Women which supports disadvantaged young women to change their lives for the better, through education or meaningful employment.

An anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory protein that your body makes daily as a vital part of your immune system to protect you against germs. Lactoferrin stands guard at your body’s entry points – such as your eyes, nose, mouth – and certain white blood cells.

It can, however, become depleted faster than it’s restored if we’re stressed, struggling to sleep, run down, or ageing. This is when Leapfrog springs into action.

Inspired by the blissed-out mood of a baby after drinking milk, French scientists created Lactium® to emulate that same serene state in a supplement. Lactium® is a milk protein hydrolysate that contains a natural bioactive decapeptide with relaxing properties.

It’s been clinically proven to reduce stress-related symptoms like anxiety and promote efficient sleep, which is why we nicknamed it ‘Sleepfrog’.
