Who We Are
In 2018, Leapfrog's founder Stephanie Drax - journalist, entrepreneur and mum of two - was introduced to Lactoferrin by a scientist, Dr Nicholas Larkins.
Stephanie's young family had been stuck on the relentless merry-go-round of colds her kids brought home from nursery, and Dr Larkins suggested Lactoferrin, saying he hadn't had a cold in 30 years.
Thanks to Lactoferrin, the sickness in Stephanie's household seemed to evaporate, and so she spent two years working with immunologists, pharmacists and nutritionists to formulate Leapfrog IMMUNE: the UK's first Lactoferrin supplement in a delicious chewable tablet.
Leapfrog SNOOZE, FOCUS and DAILY followed – targeting poor sleep, stress and offering daily resilience. With Leapfrog, Stephanie created a brand she could trust for her own family, built on ingredients that were natural, rigorously sourced, and genuinely effective.

Where We Source Our Ingredients
Our Lactoferrin is extracted from fresh milk — not colostrum or whey — using a low-temperature chromatography and filtration process that preserves the protein's native structure and bioactivity. The result is lactoferrin that is greater than 95% purity - among the highest available on the market. There is only 100mg of lactoferrin in a litre of cow's milk, which makes this level of purity both rare and highly valuable.
